Who is this blog for and what are its limits.

This blog is for homeowners in the state of Californai and will attempt to answer some of the basic questions that often arise and yet are difficult to answer because of the state and local regulations, complex business environment, cost of construction, and the myriad of other issues that arise.  I am not a lawyer and I am not offering legal advice.  I am a licensed general contractor in the state of California who has worked successfully navigating these challenges for about 20 years.  Sometimes I have hired lawyers to help me and if you need help you should hire a lawyer who specializes in the area of law you have questions in and not listen to some guy on the internet.
